Drug Free Marion County is comprised of concerned citizens dedicated to preventing and reducing the negative consequences from the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in Marion County. We are business professionals, law enforcement officials, parents, health care providers, educators, neighborhood leaders and others, who, like you, care about the health and safety of our community.


After 22 years of advocating for a healthier and safer Marion County, Drug Free Marion County, Inc. is excited to announce that we are seeking our new Executive Director to further our mission and prevent and reduce substance abuse through advocacy, education, and information with individuals, families, professionals and communities. Drug Free Marion County seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to develop and implement community and agency strategic planning, to build a coalition that includes a wide variety of community perspectives and cultures, to manage administrative, financial and personnel issues, and represent DFMC to the community in a positive and effective manner. Applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in human services or a business-related field with 3 – 5 years of experience in administrative operations and management, and demonstrated experience in grant writing, grant management, and fundraising.
