Nancy Beals is the Prevention Project Coordinator for Drug Free Marion County and has worked in the prevention field for over twenty years. She is a Certified Prevention Professional and has a Master’s degree in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Ministry for the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. As prevention and project coordinator she works with local professionals to bring proven intervention and prevention approaches to Marion County. She currently coordinates a community effort to reduce underage and binge drinking. Initiatives include addressing community risk factors that make alcohol readily available to minors and providing prevention information to parents and community leaders.
